OBJETIVO: el objetivo principal de esta clase es
que puedan distinguir y utilizar los siguientes tiempos verbales combinados:
PAST SIMPLE AND PAST CONTINUOUS,
La
principal diferencia entre past simple y past
continuous está en su uso. El pasado simple de los verbos en
inglés indica acciones pasadas que ya han acabado. Pero, ¿cuándo se utiliza el past continuous? Este tiempo verbal se utiliza
para hablar de acciones que estaban en progreso en un punto concreto del
pasado.
En
la frase ‘When I came home, my brother was playing football’ (Cuando llegué a casa, mi hermano estaba jugando al
futbol), puedes ver la diferencia entre ambas formas verbales.
